AnimeAMAZE is going to be going through a bit of a reformation. The changes that will take place will be somewhat small and may not change the way you experience AnimeAMAZE much at all. The reformulation is mostly behind the scenes and basically the whole idea of the reformulation is to get back up to date with what AnimeAMAZE is.
Firstly, I would like to let you know that life is one of the main reasons I have not been able to keep up with doing live shows. I have been moving around a lot, studying a lot and working a lot more and a lot harder. Some personal events also kept me back a bit which were very difficult to work around. While this was happening all together at times I got overwhelmed and just kind of stepped back and focus on the big picture and prioritized what needed to be taken care of. I’ve found my permanent home for now, but life is one thing that has kept me busy and I wanted to make sure I was in a good place physically and mentally before diving back into AnimeAMAZE.
Second is technology. I have a small space and a USB mic would have been the best option for a tiny area. Windows 10 sucks when it comes to audio, sorry to be blunt but that’s the best way to put it. I have been fine tuning applications and audio gear so I’m going to try again and see what I can squeeze out of our current gear.
The tl;dr is Been busy and Windows 10 sucks for audio people.
Putting AnimeAMAZE back into gear means a few things. Those things are,
- Live shows
- Newest content at any given moment
- Contributions from listeners
- Adjusting formats here and there
Live shows: I know we all like live shows and the interaction with everyone at the time is what makes us stand out. You can be a part of something sitting at home or work just listening and knowing if you contribute something like a statement about a subject, a songs request and dedication, it will be mentioned and played with dedication read. We need more of that again and I do plan on moving forward with that.
New content: We used to have new music dumps on live shows. I want to change that up a bit and just toss music on as it is acquired. Keeping things fresh.
Contributions: I would like to know what listeners want. Let me know an idea, see if it’s possible, and if so, make it happen. That’s how this entire site and community was created. Listeners created an experience they wanted. If you think you have what it takes to tackle your own show on the radio, talk to me. I’m up for having shows of related content.
Adjusting formats: This means coming up with concrete plans for programming such as specials here and there and our entire show layout so you know what to expect and when. We’ve been somewhat consistent.
So really those are a bit of the changes that will take place. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
